A $199 Android Handheld that We've Never Seen

For the sake of simplicity, I named it $199 handheld, since rumor says the console will release at $199. It's mysterious, I have no idea where it is from. No doubt it has caused a strong disccusion in the retro gaming community. The only information was derived from the discord of Taki Udon, this is a game handheld powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, 845, or 855. Capable of running Wii, NGC, if so, it's pretty attractive for me.

I am a big fan of the white piece of it, it has a Wii console vibe, which featured a good build quality. This $199 device is actually available in a few different colors, like gray, black, red, yellow, etc.

IPS Panel

With a 5.99-inch IPS touch screen and 1920x1080 pixels, the users can enjoy a vivid and high-definition panel when playing games. It's the same size as Switch Lite, with the size of 208mmx91mmx14mm, I don't think it's portable, but it won't be a problem if it's powerful enough.

According to the tablet, the $199 handheld can run all of the games at full speed on N64, DC, Saturn and even NGC(Nintendo GameCube). Most Wii and 3DS games are playable, but a few games have the issue of frame dropping. For PS2 and Wii U games, it's hard to emulate but the device is competitive and powerful enough.

Release Date

$199 handheld will be available on Indiegogo in February. Will it take over the market of Android handheld? We'll wait and see.
